What to read after Attack on Titan

As the monolithic show of attack on titan brings itself to close in 2022, many of you will be craving the next titan which will leave a huge mark in our community. If you don't know what the new titan is, you have come to the right place.

The mind behind the modern classic, Hajime Isayama, has suggested his fans to read the new shounen series with a lot of promise, that would be blues lock. So what is blue lock, is it children fighting against monsters? Or a people trying to survive in a cruel political conflict?. Nope, it's a manga about football. That's how I could put it simply.

The story

Well it’s not just any kind of normal football, the story follows Yoichi Isagi, a striker, who is chosen by the blue lock project. A project which is run to make the one best striker in the world out of 300 high school students from all over japan and revolutionize Japanese football. Isagi and the members of team Z are put through a strong and diverse set of opponents to come step closer to their goal of becoming the best striker in the world.

The characters and art

The premise of the manga is something unique and the characters really do not have a big heart as only one can be the best striker. Our hero will do anything to survive this journey, even if it means not cooperating with his team. All of the manga's cast are really talented and have the best character designs I have seen in a while.

The art is just, indescribable. It could even pass attack on titan in bringing out fear in some panels. It gets adrenaline pumping as the characters battle over the ball, similar to the game changing smashes in haikyuu. 

As I have seen only very little of the manga, I dont know what to expect in later chapters. But I sure do know that you should definitely read this manga.
